2015 was an epic year for me. If you know me personally, you know of my successful journey through cancer treatment. You probably also know that my husband’s business contract was not renewed, leaving us without his (our) income at the same time I was undergoing treatment.
From the outside looking in, it was a challenge. From our perspective – it was a challenge. But we took it a step at a time or, in cycling vernacular, one pedal stroke after another.
My Build Your Tour business took a hit too. Although I maintained existing relationships, projects and contracts, keeping the pipeline filled was more than I could physically manage.
I did have time to think. So I gave a good deal of thought to where I want the Build Your Tour business to be in the future.
The few years of experience in selling “tour plans” or programs tell me this is not where I’ll be putting further effort, although existing products will be made available.
The focus will be on helping busy people remember the great moments, events, journeys and adventures of their lives. In the last four years, Build Your Tour has delivered dozens of photo books to guests of bicycle tours and organizers; to individuals celebrating anniversaries, birthdays and retirements; and to the adventurers enjoying their memories of the journey of their lives.
Helping busy people remember the wonder of their lives with a photo book. Taking the step of transforming their dreams into memorabilia.
